GHAZARYAN ARTASHES
Poet, WUA member since 1986
Born in 1955, January 13, in Katnaghbyur village, Aragatsotn Marz.
A graduate of Yerevan State University, the Law department. Then he attended
Moscow Literature Institute after M. Gorki. He worked at Armenian TV,
at 'Avangard' newspaper. At the moment he is the Editor-In-Chief of WUA
'Nor Dar' magazine. A. Ghazaryan is an author of numerous publicity artices,
essays and plays. His 'Post Scriptum' and 'Screaming Swam' plays were
staged on Armenian TV and Radio.

AWARDS
1. His 'Night Hour' was awarded the Prize after Paruyr Sevak.
2. In 1992 his 'Mourning Columns of Cathedral' poem was awarded the Prize
after Avetik Isahakyan.
