GEVORGYAN GAREGIN

Poet, 2001 member of the Writers’ Union of Armenia

Born January 12th, 1959, Ashtarak region, Udjan village (Now Aragatsotn region).
Graduate of the Yerevan State University, and the Yerevan Institute of Aesthetic Theatre. He worked for the “Aghbyur” youth journal, and for television. From 1996 to the present he is the script writer for the “Paraton” television series and chief editor for the “Paraton” monthly cultural broadcasts. He is a member of the board of the National dance union, and a teacher at the Yerevan State Pedagogical University. His poems have been printed periodically in the state journals and literary magazines. He is the author of many reviews and essays dedicated to dance.
