GALSTYAN GURGEN
Writer, humorist, translator, WUA member since 1983
Born in 1944, August 2, in Gyumri.
A graduate of Yerevan Pedagogical Institute, the department of Fine Arts,
the section of Painting. He worked at ‘Hayfilm’ studio, in
state literary press. Was a reporter of Armenian Radio. He published funny
stories, humoresques, feulletons, caricatures. He illustrated his own
and several other writers’ books. He is engaged in lino-operating.
G. Galstyan’s works were translated into Russian, Ukrainian, Greek,
English. His works were published in Armenia as well as in foreign countries.
He himself translates from Russian.
