GABRIELYAN VAZGEN

Literary critic, Doctor of Philology, Professor,
WUA member since 1978

Born in 1937, January 20, in Artimed village, Armavir Marz.
A graduate of Yerevan State University, the department of Philology and started to lecture at the same departement since 1966. He is a Professor at the Chair of Armenian Newest Literature and he was the deen of Philology department in 1996-2000.
V. Gabrielyan is interested in Armenian Literature of 20-th century: West-Armenian, East-Armenian and Diaspora included. He is an author of poems, scientific articles and researces which were periodically published in state literary press and by seperate editions. He collected, wrote prologues, epilogues and notes, edited West-Armenian and Diaspora writers' collected works.
