FELEKYAN HARUTYUN

Literary critic, Doctor of History, Professor, WUA member since 1963

Born in 1931, March 13, in Yerevan.
A graduate of Yerevan State University, the department of Foreign Affairs and the post-graduated courses of the same department (with excellece certificate). Running responsible posts he worked in several magazines and in periodal press ('Historical-Philological Magazine, 'Yerevan University Herald', 'Armenia Archive Herald'). In 1970-81 he was the head of the Chair of Journalistics. In 1981-91 H. Felekyan was heading the 'Sovetakan Grogh' ('Nairi' now). In 1991-2001 he was the head of the archival documents' department. He is a consultant at the same department since 2001.
