DURYAN LYUDVIG
Poet, WUA member since 1985
Born in 1933, June 21, in Chaltr village, Myasnikyan district, Rostov
region, Russia.
In 1935 family moved to Armenia. He published his first poems during the
years he studied in Yerevan Agricultural Technical School. Then he graduated
Moscow Literature Institute after M. Gorki. Running responsible posts,
he worked in press, at ‘Hayastan’ publishing house. He is
an author of thirty poetry collections. His works were translated into
languages of Former Soviet Republics and other foreign languages. His
poems were published in ‘World-Wide Literature’ book series
and many of them became lyrics for many songs.

AWARDS
He was awarded the Prize after H. Toumanyan for his ‘He Comes from
