LEVON
Poet, translator, WUA member since 1986
Born in 1949, July 15, in Gavar, Gegharkunik Marz.
A graduate of Yerevan State Agricultural Institute. Continued his education
in Moscow Institute of Literature after M. Gorki. Worked in state literary
press and was the state Radio correspondent in Sevan region. At the moment
he is the cultural programs' editor of National Radio. His poems are periodically
published in state literary press. He translates as well(Anna Akhmatova,
Vladislav Khodasevich, Vladimir Visotski). His lyrics became songs with
the music of K. Orbelyan, Al. Achemyan, R Amirkhanyan, M. Vardazaryan.
He associates with composer Janna Blbulyan, his sister. They have released
together compact disc called 'Crossed Heartes'(2003). L. Blbulyan's selected
songs found their place in CD called 'Sunny Rain'(2004).
