Literary critic, translator, Candidate of Philology, WUA member since 1985


Born in 1945, June 18, in Baghanis village, Tavush Marz.
A graduate of Yerevan State University, the department of Philology, section of Eastern Languages (Persian Language and Literature) and Tbilisi State University, the department of Philology, section of Georgian Language and then attended the post-graduate courses of the same department, specializing in Georgian Literature History. He is heading Yerevan University's Armenian-Georgian Philology scientific group of Armenian scholars' center.
H. Bayramyan lectures Georgian Language and Literature in Yerevan State University.
An author of Georgian New Literature History high-school textbook, several scientific, critique articles, publications. He has translated, collected, commented and published works of classical and contemporary writers in literary magazines and by seperate editions.
'Irakli Abashidze', 'Nodar Dumbadze', 'Gabriel Sundukyan', 'Shota Rustaveli' documentary films were shot by his scenarios and shown on Armenian and Georgian TV.
H.Bayramyan is a member Armenian-Georgian association.
