AVETISYAN ZAVEN

Literary critic, Doctor of Philology, Professor

Born in 1933, November 16, in Khashtarak village, Tavush Marz.
A graduate of Yerevan State University, the department of Philology. After he attended post-graduated courses of RA NAS Literary Institute after M. Abeghyan. At the moment he lectures at Yerevan State University. Took part in team work creation of almost dozen monographs on history and theory of literature, 'La poisie Armenianne Anthologie, Paris, 1973', 'Pearls of Armenian Belletristic Literature' (1973), Hovh. Toumanyan's anniversary four-volume edition (1968), helped to assemble Demirchyan's academic edition and made the notes of the last. He is the author of several scientific works, college and high school text-books.
