Translator, 2004 member of the Writers’ Union of Armenia


Born 26th October 1935, Tbilisi, Georgia.
Graduate of the Yerevan State University Department of Philology, specialising in the Russian language. For many years she worked in the Yerevan State University Press as senior editor. At the same time she graduated from the Moscow Press’ Institute Seminar of High Quality. Her translations have made the works of contemporary Armenian writers available to the Russian speaking world. They have been printed in a number of papers in Moscow such as the “Literaturnaya Armenia”. They have also been published in book form. Her articles, reviews, and interviews have been published in the State Press. She is also a member of the Drama and Journalism Union.
