AVAGYAN KHACHATUR

Playwright, theatrical critic, candidate of art sciences, humourist,
publicist, WUA member since 1984

Born in 1925, September 25, in Yerevan.
A graduate of Yerevan State Theatrical Institute, the department of Theatre. In 1957-89 he worked at 'Sovetakan Arvest' magazine, in RA NAS Institute. He is the author of prologues of team work 'History of the Soviet Armenian Theatre'(with B. Harutyunyan, 1967). He has founded and now is the head of Kanaqer 'Avandapah' friendly association. He is a member of Yerevan City Hall nominating Committee and the president of WUA Inspection Commission. RA Honoured worker of Art.
