ATABEKYAN NERSES

Poet, Translator, Candidate of Philology, 1999 Member of the Writers’ Union of Armenia

Born June 1st, 1960, Yerevan.
Graduate of the Yerevan State University Department of Philology. His first work of poetry was printed in the “Yerevani Hamalsaran” paper. His poetry has been printed in the state periodical press, in a number of collections and anthologies, and have been broadcasted on radio and television. Lately the state press have printed over 50 of his analytical articles dedicated to the subjects of Armenian culture, Armenia’s internal and foreign policies and pressing problems of today. He is involved in translation work, and his translations have been printed in various journals (“Garoun”, “Artasahmanyan Grakanutyun”) as well as a book form.
