ASHUGHYAN KARINE
Poet, Translator, Journalist, 1996 Member of the Writers’ Union
of Armenia
Born March 20th, 1962, Ararat region, Kirov State Farm (now Ararat region,
Taperacan village)
Graduate of Yerevan State University, Department of Philosophy and Sociology.
She completed her PhD in the State Academy of Sciences Institute of Philosophy
and Law. She worked in the same institute for the “Hay Zinvor”
paper. She is now the chief editor of the “Ararat” regional
paper. From 1980 her poetry, translations and journalistic articles have
been printed in the state press.
