ASAD MIROYE

Novelist, Poet, Translator, 1970 Member of the Writers’ Union of Armenia

Born September 5th 1919, Aragats region, Alagyaz village (Now Aragatsotni region).
Graduate of the Kurdish Pedagogical High School, Yerevan, and the Moscow Inter-Soviet Institute of Law. He has worked in the Alagyaz and Aparan District Committees, where he held positions of responsibility. From 1995 onwards he has been the editor of the “Ria Taza” Kurdish paper. Under the authority of Khatcharey Mourad he compiled the textbooks for Kurdish schools. His works are in Kurdish.
