Poet, translator, WUA member since 1977


Born in 1941, October 21, in Djraber village, Kotayk Marz.
A graduate of Yerevan Pedagocical Institute, the department of History.
His first poem was published in’Pioner Kanch’ newspaper and was awarded a prize. He published several books and he writes for children, too. His works were translated into several languages. He writes prose, too.

AWARDS

1. In 1993 he was awarded a Prize after Daniel Varujan for his ‘The Bread My Mother Gave’ poetry collection.
2. He was awarded the WUA and ‘Zoravar Andranik’ national-wide union’s Prize for the best poem.
