Translator, Literary Critic, Candidate of Philology, 1996 Member of the Writers’ Union of Armenia.


Born December 24th, 1961, Yerevan.
Graduate of the Yerevan State University Department of Philology. PhD. He has worked in the Abeghian Institute of Literature “Nairi” Publishing house as Manager of the Literature Translation Department. He was the Director of the Charents Museum of Literature and Art. From 1993 he became involved in diplomatic activity and until the present day works in the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Armenia. He is the author of resource books concerning the Armenian Middle Ages, modern authors, and also essays and articles on a series of European authors. He has also translated and published in book form or certain popular press magazines a number of German-Austrian and French literary works (Shiller, Muriger, Tragl, Rontzoni, Rembo, Samen, Valerie, Kamyu, Berse). He has also printed a number of social and political articles, essays, novels and poems in the press.
