Art Section

The WUA Art section (club starting with 1934, Writers’ Home starting with 1975 and Art section since 2001) was founded in 1934, under the WUA literary fund Armenian section for WUA members’ meetings, leisure and literary works’ discussion place. Writers' Union has a chorus(chorus-master Karo Chalikyan), theatre-studio(director Rouben Marukhyan). In 2001 leaving the submission of Literary fund it became a section of WUA. In two halls of Writers' Home are being held literary evenings, book discussions presentations, exhibitions and meetings of Armenian classical and contemporary, Diaspora and foreign writers.
